- Travel to and from various construction sites
- Perform materials testing on concrete, fill soils, asphalt, aggregates, grout, mortar
- Inspection of footings, rebar, and masonry to ensure that all project specifications are met
- Perform lab testing on soil samples
- Transport equipment to and from other offices
- Assist other offices with field work when necessary
- Onsite sampling of construction materials, including concrete, mortar, soils, various other aggregates
- Onsite soil compaction testing and bearing inspections
- Onsite rebar and steel inspections
- Perform laboratory tests of soils including grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, Proctor Tests, crush count, etc.
- Comprehensive concrete strength tests
- Must have a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Geology, four year degree preferred, could consider two year degree
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and full 10 panel drug screen
- Must have a valid DL and a clean driving record in order to drive company vehiclesGreat communication skills
- Computer proficiency
