    The Red Clay Consolidated School District (RCCSD) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic School Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team

    About RCCSD:

    RCCSD is a public school district committed to providing a quality education for all students in Wilmington, Delaware. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment for our staff.

    About the Role:

    • School Year:
    • Hours:Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
    • Location:Multiple schools within the Red Clay district (on-site services only)
    • Caseload:K-12th grade students with a variety of physical therapy needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for students with disabilities.
    • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans to addressstudents'specific needs in areas such as gross motor skills, mobility, balance, and participation in school activities.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers to ensure a cohesive approach to supportingstudentsuccess.
    • Document progress and outcomes of physical therapy services.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in school-based physical therapy.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
    • Delaware State Licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT).
    • Experience working with children in a school setting(preferred).
    • Strong clinical skills in pediatric physical therapy.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
