    Randstad is seeking an experienced Sit Down Forklift Operator for our client in Lakeland, FL 33815 This position requires ability to work 12 hours shifts Monday-Friday 6a-finish (approximately 6p) Ability to Lift up to 50 pounds consistently Apply within and call or come to our offices immediately for next steps 3615 S Florida Ave Suite 1210 Lakeland, FL 33803 Monday-Friday 8a-5p

    Responsibilities

    As a Forklift Operator , you will use a forklift to transport merchandise to, from, and within the warehouse to put away, drop down, and rotate full pallets of stock through the warehouse inventory reserve racks using a stand-up forklift

    Forklift Operators help support this mission by replenishing product levels to ensure items can be easily accessed in the warehouse

    Department: shift starts at 6:00 AM until the work is done (Approximately 6p)

    Operating a forklift to transport merchandise to designated locations in the warehouse

    Accurately tracking inventory utilizing a handheld computer and other necessary technology

    Stacking and rotating merchandise, either by hand or using material handling equipment

    Replenishing pick slots and production lines to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders

    Staging finished product in designated storage areas

    Loading and unloading merchandise from trailers

    Following all safety protocols and procedures set for a forklift operator in the warehouse

    Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

    Frequently lifting of product weighing between lbs

    The essential functions of this role include:
