- Leads and manages a group of managers, supervisors, professionals, general manufacturing associates, technicians, craftpersons, etc. to achieve the organizations goals and objectives. These include recruitment, training, development, people retention and performance management.
- Plans, analyzes, monitors, and is responsible for manufacturing performance and meeting operational goals, including safety, quality, productivity, delivery and cost with technical competence and regulatory compliance, and new product/ technology introduction.
- Plans, analyzes, and monitors all operations activities within an assigned area to achieve all targets.
- Develops and implements manufacturing schedules and procedures and allocates labor and capital resources to maximize productivity.
- Analyzes production, maintenance and malfunction records to identify problems and recommend solutions (for example, changes in procedures, workflow, or equipment) that will improve performance.
- Responsible for manufacturing budgeting and forecasting exercise
- Ensures all operations are meeting the GMP, ISO documentation and all regulatory requirements without noncompliance issue.
- Requires breadth of professional field and industry knowledge. Ability to integrate critical information and champion advanced strategies/concepts through the organization. Drives development of advanced technologies, principles and processes.
- Manages activities of a functional area which has at least 2 departments or major functions through managers and/or experienced employees. Responsible for cost, method, and employee results.
- Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
- Represents the organization as a prime contact on projects and departmental operations. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on issues often requiring coordination across organizational lines.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
- 10-15 years related experience, plus a minimum of 5 years management experience required.
- Applicable industry/professional certification required.
- Occasional business travel required.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
