    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Responsible for providing all aspects of HR support and partnership to IT employees located throughout the US Eastern region and Canada. The person will split their time at the Jersey City and Manhattan locations.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Leads key human resources processes and initiatives such as talent acquisition, on-boarding, performance management, employee engagement, change management, immigration, compensation planning, organizational design, and succession planning sessions.
    • Ensures proper administration of and compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations including labor, wage, EEO and, ADA.
    • Serves as advocate to both employee and company regarding employee performance as well as day-to-day working environment. Counsel employees and/or managers regarding a variety of issues.
    • Ensures adherence to company compensation guidelines by counseling managers regarding offers as well as salary increases. Monitors salary/grade levels for industry competitiveness and for pay equity.
    • Conducts research, manages projects and timelines, and participates as a hands-on contributor toward the successful completion of various HR Initiatives.
    • Keeps management informed of any challenges that jeopardize the achievement of objectives and those which are not being addressed adequately at the line management level.
    EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years' HR experience; PHR/SPHR and/or Master's Degree a plus
    • Demonstrated knowledge of human resource disciplines, including employee relations, benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, performance management, coaching, and development (Generalist)
    • Strong human resources generalist background, preferably in a global IT environment
    • Ability to analyze, plan and execute corporate initiatives.
    • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to present ideas, and/or facts and recommendations effectively.
    • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries/complaints and facilitate conflict resolution.
    • Must have strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and 365 Teams.
    • Excellent follow up and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently with little direction.
    • Ability to professionally interact with all levels of the organization.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
    • Expert knowledge of local, state, and federal laws governing employment issues
    SALARY RANGE:

    The salary range for this position is $100,000 and $110,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
