    Job Title: Medical Assistant at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the examination, treatment, and care of patients.
    • Handle phone calls, appointments, and obtain insurance authorizations.
    • Prepare medical records and assist in surgical procedures.
    • Support supervising physician or nurse as needed.
    • Admit and screen patients efficiently.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
    • 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
    • Proficient in computer use.
    • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
    • CPR certification required.
