    ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a

    Technical

    Specialist to join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

    This role will make an impact by meeting the future needs of our FAA customer that includes securing data across networks in the enterprise.

    FNS team needs to perform a gap analysis of the the FNS first level documentation and provide recommendations and new documentation to FNS first level support.

    Documentation includes technical instruction books, notices, handbook and other technical directives.
    Works independently with limited supervision.
    Provides expertise in first level maintenance documentation requirements analysis and development of technical documentation
    Analytical and problem-solving ability
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Preferred
    Experience in system test
    Analytical and problem-solving ability
    Must be willing to travel.
    Full-time position at the FAA WJHTC, standard work hours, no specified job duration

    REQUIREMENTS:
    High School Diploma or GED required and ten (10) years of related experience including at
    least five (5) years of NAS experience.

    An Associate's Degree in a related field will be accepted in lieu of two (2) years of experience.
    A Bachelor's Degree in a related field will be accepted in lieu of fur (4) years of experience.

    Develop and manage system engineering artifacts; system requirements artifacts; system testing artifacts; required product baseline artifacts
    Possess a technical understanding of the maintenance of NAS systems.
    Review technical documentation and provide recommendations for improvements.
    Track and audit documentation redlines.
    Develop and manage system engineering artifacts; system requirements artifacts; system testing artifacts; required product baseline artifacts.
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Experience in developing NAS technical documentation
    Experience with NAS second level engineering
    Proficient technical writing and oral communication skills
    Must be willing to travel
    Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust
    US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US
    Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years
