    Your Role as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

    • Deliver hands-on support to residents, enhancing their daily lives with kindness and compassion.
    • Assist with daily living tasks, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
    • Help residents with mobility, transferring, and repositioning.
    • Serve meals and assist with eating when needed.
    • Record vital signs and monitor food/fluid intake/output.
    • Document care and support activities in accordance with facility guidelines.
    • Participate in care plan meetings and provide meaningful input.
    • Promote a resident-centered environment focused on dignity, respect, and quality of life.

    • Current CNA certification (state-approved).
    • A compassionate nature and patient, positive attitude.
    • Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
    • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
    • Commitment to resident privacy and confidentiality.
    • Dependability and punctuality for scheduled shifts.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
    • Valid CPR certificate preferred.
    • Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.
