    Account Executive

    About us:

    Shachihata Inc. (USA) is a subsidiary of Shachihata Inc. Japan. Shachihata is a 3rd generation family-owned company established 98 years ago in Japan specializing in commercially manufactured writing products and other office supplies.

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a Sales Account Executive to join our team You will be responsible for sales and promotion of all our products: Xstamper, Quix, Classix and Artline. Training is mandatory on-site for at least 6 months in Torrance, California.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute successful service and sales campaigns to grow existing business and new business.
    • Support current customer base with day-to-day sales issues as needed.
    • Develop, produce, and present sales proposals to customers.
    • Work with marketing team to offer creative solution-based programs and products for customers.
    • Source new accounts through direct customer interaction, past relationships, cold calling, and social media
    • Utilize industry leads to identify and interact with key decision-makers.
    • Responsible for attainment of sales goals through new account development and account retention
    • Ability to communicate value proposition at all levels and functions of clientele.
    • Responsible for the appropriate and timely completion of all field reports such as daily reports, expense reports as well as various administrative tasks as required by the position.
    • Ensure a positive customer experience by educating, cross-selling, upselling customers on services and products.

    Qualification:

    • 5+ years of successful sales experience
    • Knowledge of the stationary products (industry) is a plus, but not a requirement.
    • B2B sales experience
    • Proven sales track record of meeting & exceeding sales goals
    • Strategic sales planning skills
    • Highly organized and efficient
    • Ability to gain and maintain strong professional relationships.
    • Excellent written and oral skills required.
    • Ability to thrive in a competitive environment.
    • A high level of energy and commitment to achieving your sales goals.
    • Willingness to learn specifics of packaging and industry standards.
    • Desire to further develop your career in sales and account management.
    • Ensure outstanding customer service through relationship building to consultative selling.

    Job Type: Full-time (Training Mandatory on site for 6 months).

    Estimated Salary: $67,000 to $70,000 per year based on qualifications and experience. Compensation will vary on various factors including, but not limited to experience, education, location and responsibilities.
