    Job Summary:
    Under direct supervision, provides basic clerical functions for department.Essential Responsibilities:

    - Upholds Kaiser Permanentes Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local laws
    - Answer and screen telephone calls
    - Takes messages or relay information according to procedures
    - Maintains various departmental activity logs, records, and forms
    - Maintains department files
    - Establish new files and file documents according to procedures
    - Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail
    - Prepares outgoing mail
    - Order and maintain office supplies
    - Photocopy and collate materials
    - Responds to requests for information as directed
    - Establishes and maintains courteous, cooperative relations with the public, patients and other personnel
    - Performs other related duties as requested
