    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT (R) certification and recent vascular interventional experience for a travel assignment.

    Responsibilities
    Work in a hospital-based vascular interventional radiology department
    Care provided to adolescent and adult populations
    Primarily day shifts, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
    Rotating on-call responsibilities for evenings and weekends
    Requires flexibility to float to various work locations and shift lengths as needed
    Uses EPIC EMR for charting
    Responsible for producing high quality radiology images meeting departmental standards
    Provide services within the radiology department and assigned operating room areas
    Must demonstrate competence with a variety of interventional radiology equipment and technologies
    Maintains and practices safety guidelines for patients and staff
    Must work effectively as part of a team with strong communication skills
    Work may require varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on call schedule
    Assignment duration is up to one calendar year, with required break before returning
    First-time travelers are not specified

    Requirements
    Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification required before employment
    Current ARRT (R) required
    ARRT (VI) required within 18 months of start date
    Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross is required
    Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience OR 3 completed travel assignments
    Experience in a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred
    Active license required if applicable
