    Varied Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, Indiana's first community mental health center, provides comprehensive care for emotional and behavioral problems, including severe mental illness and substance abuse.

    The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center offers both inpatient and outpatient services, including several outreach centers as well as clinic- and community-based services.

    FLSA StatusNon-ExemptJob Role SummaryThe Clinician performs a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices.

    This position manages a caseload of clients identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative and case management needs, engaging other team members in meeting these needs as indicated.

    Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesEmbraces, understands, and operates under the Recovery Model, including AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You) and the spirit of motivational interviewing (MI), and follows the levels of accountabilityCompletes biopsychosocial evaluation (BPSE), integrating information gathered by the team and developing the integrated diagnostic summary; based upon the BPSE and in consultation with the treatment team, prepares Clinical Treatment plans, dates the treatment plan at intervals determined by guidelines, and consults with client, family, and treatment team throughout the processManages a caseload of clients identifying therapeutic, rehabilitative and case management needs; engages other team members in meeting these needs as indicatedPerforms a variety of individual, family and group therapeutic interventions (as demonstrated competency allows) utilizing evidence-based practicesProvides quality case management services as indicated by client need Monitors client progress and reflects this in the clinical documentationEvaluates and updates the treatment plan at intervals determined by guidelines, consulting with client family and team in this processCompletes documentation of activities and written reports in an accurate and timely mannerIdentifies community resources and assists clients in their access to these resourcesProvides indirect service to external agencies and community through consultation and educationInterprets and applies service and billing procedures according to client needs; completes billing according to guidelines for timeliness and accuracy Alters activities and behaviors to reflect and ensure adequate care which is appropriate to the age of the clients servedAdvocates for clients to ensure access to needed services which include developing community relationships and resourcesMeets agency standards of timely completion of all documentationMeets agency standards of client service hoursDemonstrates commitment to professional growth by actively participating in clinical supervisionJob RequirementsMaster's degree in Human Services fieldCandidates with a Master's of Social Work must have Licensed Social Work (LSW) and be working towards Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW)Candidates must have submitted a plan to obtain licensure at the soonest date possible within a maximum allowed of three yearsValid Indiana driver's license that meets Eskenazi Health's driving policy requirementsAll individuals working for the Opioid Treatment Program must have one of the following FSSA/DMHA-approved credentials for Clinicians providing counseling with an
