Skills and Qualifications for this position:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA preferred but not required
• Experience using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online preferred
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel
• Ability to prioritize work for multiple clients and consistently meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented
• Ability to self-manage and work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting not only with our staff but with your clients as well
• Enjoys problem solving
• Willingness to continually look for efficiencies and learn new skills

Expectations of the Role: This role will have a variety of responsibilities for multiple client engagements that include but are not limited to:

• Assessing the financial records of new clients to create a plan to correct and bring the financials up to date
• Creating financial reconciliations between the financial statements and third party platforms such as POS and CRM systems
• Financial Statement Review and Analysis (Budget vs actuals, prior year comparisons, trends, etc.)
• Presenting clients with feedback and providing proactive recommendations
• Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
• Training and coaching less experienced team members
• Reviewing the work of junior staff members and providing guidance before delivering finished products to Senior Management
• Collaborate with the internal tax team to ensure compliance on any tax related issues (sales tax and other)
