    Roles & Responsibilities Of The Warehouse Manager:

    Lead all aspects of the Facility's Warehouse Department including shipping, receiving, and transportation sectors, including team members within the department.

    Serve as the primary contact for PurchasingDrive performance-based culture that embraces improvements in technology and processes within the department.

    Understanding the managerial role in driving internal and external locus of controlMust be engaged in and monitor all material requisitioning processes.

    Take ownership of the accuracy and integrity of inventory counts within the bakery facility.
    Confirm accurate product reconciliation, materials, and tray counts throughout the facility.
    Support Just-In-Time (JIT) programsEnsure proper material flow utilizing FIFO methodology.
    Must have previous experience that validates being a subject matter expert on enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

    Oversee the scheduling and delivery of products to customersOversee the timely process of paperwork to the finance teamAbility to maintain and organize paperwork for auditing purposesMust ensure Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) as well as Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance for all inbound and outbound facility operations.

    Set and maintain clean, clear, and organized spaces throughout the warehousing areasBuild and develop a high-performing team in all sectors including shipping, receiving, and transport

    Metrics Measured for this Role:
    On Time delivery and customer fulfillment of orders from the bakery facilityOn Time delivery of materials to the bakery facility from vendorsVendor Scorecard with HQ Procurement TeamAccuracy of inventory within the bakery facilitySQF Audit Score for bakery facility

    Core Competencies for this Role:
    Will serve as Powered Industrial truck (PIT)

    Trainer for bakery facilityWill have a strong understanding of Lean MethodologyWill have an exceptional understanding of FSQA requirements for the facilityWill exhibit computational acumen, including but not limited to proficiency in the below:
    Microsoft Office SuiteWarehouse Management SystemWill set clear expectations for sectors of the Warehouse Department including shipping, receiving, and transportation.
    Will embody sound critical thinking and problem solving skills

    RequirementsPreferred Certifications & Education for

    This Role:
    Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain and operations management, or related business field.

    At least three (3) years' experience in Warehouse Management or Logistics ManagementSix Sigma Green belt and or Black Belt certificationFSQA Certifications (i.e.

    HACCP, PCQI)
