Description

Aeyon seeks a highly skilled, experienced Level II Data Analyst to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and operational effectiveness through rigorous financial management, audit response, internal controls evaluation, and policy development.

This requirement will support the Deputy Commandant for Installations and Logistics priorities for modernizing business processes to support an effective internal control program and improve external reporting requirements.

This program is a centralized, nationwide program that is responsible for meeting the requirements outlined in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-123 (OMB A-123), OMB Circular A-136 (OMB A-136), the Chief Financial Officer's Act of 1990 and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) publications.

• Apply technical expertise and skills to implement business solutions. Level II individuals are directed to exercise core skills on projects, or they may direct small teams.

Develop and maintain robust databases to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility for analytics, aligning with strategic business objectives and compliance with regulatory standards such as OMB Circular A-123 and NIST publications.

Create compelling data visualizations and analytic reports that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making and enhancing the internal control program and external reporting capabilities.

Design and implement data cleansing scripts and processes to maintain high-quality data for analysis, contributing to the reliability and accuracy of financial reporting and budgeting processes.

Perform technical data analytics using statistical methods and data modeling techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and insights within complex datasets, enhancing operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

Direct small teams executing data projects, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives and foster a collaborative working environment efficiently.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, integrate data sources, and deliver comprehensive data solutions that support the program's goals of modernizing business processes and improving compliance and efficiency.
• Problem-solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities to design and implement solutions for data quality, integration, and analytics challenges.
• Experience supporting IT Development (SDLC - Technical documentation, requirements, design, testing, change management or deployment) or creating/maintaining databases or data and analytics experience (creation of data visualizations, data analytic reports, data cleansing scripts and processes or performing technical data analytics) for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees.

• Three (3) years of progressive, relevant experience building dashboards and organizing data to be presented to Middle Management (GS12/15 or O4/O6) or
• One (1) year of progressive, relevant experience building dashboards and organizing data to be presented to Senior Leaders (GO or SES)

• Preferred experience using ARC Tool, eGRC Tool or other similar tools
• Preferred experience of RMIC programs
