    VLS Description:

    This position will work within the Quality Assurance Organization performing Quality Control activity and Data Analytics supporting the Vertical Launch System (VLS) Program.

    This is a full time position supporting programs out of Moorestown, NJ with two operating facilities. The individual may be required to report to either site and travel between 199 Borton Landing Rd. Moorestown, NJ and 405 Heron Drive Swedesboro, NJ. This position is responsible for ensuring Quality Controls, Policies, Procedures, and Practices are followed and executed correctly.

    Conduct Product Inspection and conformity to contract requirements Facilitate customer presentations and Customer Inspections in a Warehouse type of environment Work with Logistics and Operations to deliver compliant product Investigate Quality related issues regarding production hardware material Engage with various Quality Engineers to support investigation Responsible for developing and coordinating defect containment actions.

    Collaborate with Operations Supervisor and Quality Engineering on the root cause of defects and development of robust corrective actions. Manage the return of non-conforming product to Vendors. Coordinate and mark Non-End Item Material as requested by Program Support Supplier Quality Eng.

    with containment activity by conducting stock sweeps and product review as applicable As required, the scope of work may span across multiple shift.

    This position is located at a facility that requires special access Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years (or more) of Quality or related experience.

    Experience in inspecting parts Self-starter with knowledge and understanding of quality processes and disciplines. Surveillance or auditing experience Experience with professional Customer communication.

    Proficient in problem solving and critical thinking Be able to move around in a warehouse environment Be able to move boxes and inspect parts Desired Skills:
    Technical experience with engineering specifications and drawings Understanding of manufacturing processes Data Analytics (MS Excel Data manipulation, Pivot Charts, Charts, Data Deep Dive)

    Material Resource Planning (MRP) System Experience (SAP/COS/etc) Experience working in a warehouse environment Experience working in logistics Security Clearance Statement:

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
