    About the Role:
    Merelo Enterprise is a leading utility construction and infrastructure services company committed to safety, integrity, and sustainable practices.

    We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Enterprise Health & Safety (EHS) to lead our organization-wide safety strategy, compliance, and risk management programs.

    This role will ensure a world-class safety culture across all operations.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Strategic Leadership
    2 Develop and execute the enterprise EHS strategic plan, including goals, objectives, and initiatives.
    2 Align safety programs with corporate strategy and operational priorities.
    Compliance & Risk Management
    2 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, DOT, environmental standards).
    2 Lead risk assessments and implement proactive measures to reduce exposure.
    Incident Management
    2 Oversee rapid response investigations for incidents and catastrophes.
    2 Collaborate with legal, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders on reporting and corrective actions.
    Performance Monitoring
    2 Develop and track KPIs and scorecards to measure safety performance.
    2 Prepare and present regular safety reports and dashboards to executive leadership.
    Culture & Training
    2 Champion a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization.
    2 Drive best practices and continuous improvement through training and engagement programs.

    Qualifications:
    2 Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
    2 15+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in construction, utilities, or related industries.
    2 Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent credentials preferred.
    2 Proven ability to lead complex investigations and manage regulatory compliance.
    2 Strong communication and leadership skills with experience influencing at all organizational levels.
    Preferred
    2 BS in Health & Safety Management, Risk Management, or related field; professional certifications (CSP, CIH, REM, CESCO) preferred
