    Job Summary

    This role is responsible for operating information processing equipment according to programmed instructions, utilizing a standard alpha-numeric keyboard and related peripherals to manage and update various types of data.

    Direct supervision is provided by higher-level administrative staff, who offer detailed guidance for new or complex tasks.

    • Processes data for multiple records and reports using information processing equipment and peripherals like printers;
    • Manages data on information processing equipment by entering new data, editing existing data, and conducting file searches;
    • Maintains disk directories and other storage media for information processing operations;
    • Updates records and indexes to identify files, records, and documents;
    • Retrieves data from information processing equipment to produce required reports;
    • Uses information processing equipment in word processing mode to manage and update various documents;
    • Configures equipment settings for formatting and layout requirements;
    • Reviews and prints final documents before submitting them to supervisors;
    • Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance;
    • Communicates with supervisors regarding project progress and any challenges encountered;
    • Trains new personnel on information processing equipment as needed;
    • Compiles basic statistical reports and performs other related duties.
