Lab IT Business Systems Analyst III – (Contract) – Onsite – CA

Award winning Biopharmaceutical organization seeks a Lab IT Business Systems Analyst III for a 1.5-year long contract onsite in northern California. This requires 5+ years in Life Sciences IT software development as a Business Analyst and within a regulated environment. Additionally hands-on experience on Azure DevOps, MS Visio, and JIRA is a requirement as well as extensive authoring of documentation to include Software Quality Assurance Testing, Business Requirements, Functional and Technical workflows, and more. Opportunity offers a long-term lucrative contract with a well-known organization and potential contract extensions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• US or Green Card work authorization; located within the US.
• Ability to be onsite 5 days a week at offices in northern California.
• 5+ years in Life Sciences IT software development as a Business Analyst.
• Regulatory Environment experience within Biotech or Pharmaceutical environment.
• Hands-on Business Analysis expertise within Azure DevOps, MS Visio, and JIRA.
• Extensive authoring of documentation to include Software Quality Assurance Testing, Business Requirements, Functional and Technical workflows, and more.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Developing use cases in support of business processes and re-engineering of these.
• Identifying the requirements and potential KPIs.
• Identifying, analyzing and interpreting patterns or trends within complex data sets.
• Serving as a resource for data architecture, model creation and analysis for supply chain forecasting and capacity planning of commercial products across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Drafting and executing SQA test scripts and documentation for new and existing applications, while liaising accordingly regarding test plans.
• Coordinating and communicating requirements and needs within Supply Chain and Commercial Manufacturing Departments.
• Presenting insight and findings to Commercial Outsourcing teams and PDM Management.
• Providing regular updates and communications to business stakeholders, system managers and the development team.
• Working with PDM business stakeholders to ensure proper understanding of requirements to translate these into technical and functional requirements for development teams.
• Providing business process maps along with relevant project documentation for technical teams.
• Performing hands-on utilization and business analysis of Azure DeveOps, JIRA, and Visio.
• Serving as Business Analyst on multiple projects at once.
