    Success in a Store Cashier:

    Customer Service
    • This role is responsible for providing experience excellence for the guest in their respective location. The store cashier is responsible for taking care of the guest with their purchases, inquiries, special requests, and concerns with a kind demeanor. The store cashier is responsible for providing exceptional service that exceeds the guest's expectations.
    • This role is responsible for completing tasks delegated to them from the daily checklist and making sure each task is complete. The store cashier is responsible for assigned cleaning/merchandising tasks on the salesfloor as well as maintaining a consistent positive presence for the guest.
    Guest Security
    • This role is responsible for protecting guest information. Rewards, payment, and identification information are included in items that should remain secure.
    • The store cashier is responsible for following all security protocols for guest/team safety.
    Positive Interaction & Proactive Communication with Staff & Guests
    • The store cashier is responsible for positive communication with the team that maintains a supportive working environment.
    • This role is responsible for helping to foster culture in the store that services the guest above and beyond their expectations. The store cashier will make every effort to resolve any issues that the customer may encounter.
    • This role is also responsible for maintaining consistent attendance. Advanced communication with their supervisor will be essential if they need to be absent from work during their scheduled time for reasons that are unavoidable.
    Executing on Brand Standards
    • This role is responsible for executing brand standards developed and communicated by the President, Vice President, and Director of Operations of the Travel Centers and C-Stores.
    • The store cashier is responsible for helping to communicate and educate the brand standards to the team and supporting a cohesive culture promoting and adhering to these standards.
    • This role is responsible for upholding the company dress code. Maintaining proper grooming and daily hygiene is expected.

    Requirements

    Must be willing to be Class C certified for UST fuel certification.

    Must be willing to take RBST training as required to sell tobacco and alcohol.
