    An exciting opportunity has arisen in the HR Systems team as a HR Systems Analyst working on the Oracle PeopleCloud system covering Core HR, Payroll, Absence HelpDesk, Ask HR, Talent and Learn modules as well as supporting our Integrations and working on the Oracle Automated Testing System.


    In the role you will provide expert user acceptance testing, writing and running test scripts; identifying, managing and resolving defects for quarterly releases and new functionality being developed to improve the system.

    For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, at one of our offices.

    Who we are looking for


    You'll be working in a small team of Analysts where you will execute test scripts for new functionality or update existing scripts and make sure they are fit for purpose for testing each release.

    You will be working with the offshore team to update automated scripts for new functionality.


    You will identify and manage any test defects, liaising with the SME's in HR Systems to resolve these or help find a workaround.


    You will also provide at peak times support and guidance to HR Users and Employees in the business with day-to-day queries and issues, identifying, managing and resolving live defects, provisioning of access, keeping the structure of the system in line with the organisation needs and monitoring and resolving any issues with our HR Batch and scheduled processes.


    You will be working closely with other teams in HR Systems, HR Administration Teams, Internal Technical support teams and our Oracle Support Teams to resolve defects and problem solve.


    You will also share knowledge across the team and contribute to the direction and success of the HR Systems team as a whole.

    What you'll be doing
    Previous working knowledge and understanding of PeopleCloud processes and the associated HR calculations e.g. Absence, Core HR, Payroll, Maternity in addition to Helpdesk and Learn etc

    Keen attention to detail with an analytical mind to analyse and process complex data

    Ability to problem solve with a mathematical mindset

    Experience of Administering HR Processes and understanding corresponding systems

    Excellent communication skills – excellent written and numerical

    Self-motivated

    Ability to handle sensitive data with utmost confidentiality and professionalism

    It would also be nice if you had:

    A Payroll processing background

    Knowledge of HR policies

    Knowledge of Jira – Zephyr Scale

    General knowledge of testing standards
