- What Will You Do?
- Analyze business strategy and user needs, document specifications, and translate business objectives into system requirement specifications.
- Assist in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they integrate into business and technical processes.
- Guide business customers through developing business cases for new applications/functionality, including cost/benefit and risk/impact analysis.
- Collaborate with BW, Development, and Integration teams to ensure effective integration between BPC and related applications.
- Define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
- Test, enhance, and provide error management functionality within assigned applications.
- Develop test plans, test cases, perform functional testing, and ensure proper user acceptance testing.
- Create necessary documentation following IT Methodology standards.
- Support activities for assigned applications and ensure adequate training for supporting resources.
- Track issues, enhancement requests, and suggest improvements for assigned applications.
- Work with vendors on project coordination, development tasks, and issue resolution.
- Stay informed about clients' business practices, industry trends, and provide technical solutions to enhance customer products and services.
- Deliver new user training on supported applications as needed.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- What is the Required Experience?
- 7 to 10 years of Group Reporting and Business Planning & Consolidation experience, including:
- Business process definition, requirements definition, and support of integrated business applications
- Analysis and implementation of SAP Group Reporting and BPC solutions
- System development methodologies and process mapping
- What are the Preferred Qualifications?
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Business Analyst Certification (CBAP)
- Proficiency with case tools, MS SQL server, Visual Basic, Project, SharePoint, and Visio
- Willingness to provide after-hours support as required
