- Runs electrical wiring per the National Electric Code (less than high voltage) and performs minor repairs at the board level
- Plans layouts and wires electrical for updates on machinery and follows projects through to completion
- Updates minor changes on electrical prints
- Troubleshoots machinery with or without the help of control prints
- Writes small computer program additions and implements
- Recognizes safety hazards on equipment and initiates corrective actions
- Provides training for other Maintenance personnel
- Follows lockout procedures and safety rules
- Handles and labels hazardous and/or non-hazardous chemical containers properly
- Calibrates machine controllers
- Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment, buildings, and machines as assigned
- Operates cutting torch and welder as assigned by designated supervisor
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Advanced technical training or 2-4 years of industrial maintenance experience is preferred
- Color recognition for wiring purposes
- Knowledge of plant operations
- Understanding of basic electrical
- Basic knowledge of computers in association with troubleshooting devices
- Ability to obtain forklift license
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Schedule:
- 1st shift – Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
- 2nd shift – Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm
- 3rd shift – Monday-Friday, 10pm-6am or 11pm-7am
- Pay:
- $23/hour plus a $2 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift
