We're looking for caring, energetic, and reliable people who are ready to jump in and support our classrooms when our regular teachers need a day off. Whether you're studying education, returning to the workforce, or just have a passion for helping little ones learn and grow — this could be a great fit
What You'll Do:
Step in to support our teachers and kiddos in early learning classrooms (infant through preschool)
Help with playtime, learning activities, meals, and naps
Create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment
Work with a team that's all about building strong kids and strong communities
What You Bring:
A love for children and a positive attitude
Flexibility and a willingness to jump in where needed
Experience in childcare or early education is awesome, but not required — we provide training
Must meet basic licensing requirements (we'll help you through that process if needed)

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.
- Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
- Previous experience with diverse populations. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds.
- Current CPR (Adult, Infant & Child) and First Aid, AED certifications.
- Complete Praesidium Child Abuse prevention training within 15 days of hire.
- STARS 30 Hour Childcare Basic Training (Must be completed within 3 months of hire date)
- Must have or be in the process of obtaining the following:
- Negative TB Test
- HIV/Bloodborne Pathogen training
- Safe Sleep
- MERIT ID account
- Food Handlers Card
- Cleared Portable Background Check from MERIT
- MMR Immunization Record
8. Willingness to obtain the ECE initial certificate or equivalent (approximately 12 credits).
