    Summary:We are seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Paper Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our production facility. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality, and maximizing profitability. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals in achieving production goals, implementing continuous improvements, and fostering a safe and productive work environment.

    Responsibilities:
    • Leadership and Management:
      • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the entire paper plant operation.
      • Build and maintain a high-performing team through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
      • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that prioritizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
    • Production and Operations:
      • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency.
      • Oversee all aspects of the papermaking process, including pulping, refining, papermaking machines, finishing, and quality control.
      • Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining product quality and production output.
      • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and environmental standards.
    • Quality and Efficiency:
      • Establish and maintain high quality standards for all paper products.
      • Continuously monitor and improve production processes to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
      • Conduct regular audits and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
    • Communication and Collaboration:
      • Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as sales, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and meet customer needs.
      • Communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of staff, including providing regular updates on production performance and company goals.
      • Represent the company at industry events and meetings.

    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a paper mill environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
    • Proven track record of success in achieving production goals, improving efficiency, and maintaining high quality standards.
    • Strong understanding of papermaking processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong safety focus and commitment to creating a safe working environment.
