    ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The incumbent will manage vendor bills processing, check processing, and purchase order vouchering, along with filing all AP paperwork. Additionally, they will review and authorize Employee Travel expense reports within the Concur program. Other duties may also be assigned periodically. The primary objective is to ensure accurate and timely maintenance of corporate accounts payable, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments.

    MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Enter AP invoices into Microsoft Great Plains. Review transaction reports and post batch-work (Daily).
    • Process all checks weekly: print checks, attach supporting documents, stuff envelopes, and file associated paperwork. Prepare manual checks when required (Weekly).
    • File all AP documents (Daily).
    • Assist in preparing International Wires and ACH payments in our MUFG banking system (Weekly).
    • Support external auditors during year-end activities, including preparing schedules, offering explanations, and providing necessary data (Yearly).
    • Concur Training for Immersion Program (Monthly).
    • Approve and process all Expense Reports within Concur (Weekly).
    • Review A/P aging for weekly check runs to enhance Cash Flow Process (Weekly).
    • Handle any other miscellaneous accounting projects as directed by the manager (Daily).
    SCOPE:

    This role primarily focuses on ensuring the timely and accurate handling of the Company's Accounts Payable, expense reports, vendor invoices, purchase orders, and vouchers.

    KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    Basic familiarity with Windows, Word, Excel, Basic Accounting principles, Communication, Planning and Organization, Expense Report processing, Computerized GL/AP processes, Payable Procedures, and Data Entry.

    PROBLEM SOLVING REQUIREMENTS:

    The job demands proficiency in verifying the accuracy of all expense reports, vendor invoices, and checks.

    EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    Minimum of an Associate's degree, with a preference for a focus on Accounting, or equivalent practical experience (minimum 2 years in Accounts Payable).

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    The role involves physical tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, talking, standing, walking, and prolonged sitting. Visual abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

    SAFETY/PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

    Strict compliance with housekeeping and safety standards is essential. Proper use of personal protective equipment and safety devices dictated by Corporate Safety Document policies is a must.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    This office-based role necessitates regular attendance. Projects may involve solitary work or team collaboration. The incumbent may use different workstations during the day and travel to regional sites to support all company employees' accounting needs. Occasional extra hours may be necessary to fulfill job requirements. Communication with all SSI employees and external vendors must be handled promptly and courteously.
