Residential Journeyman Electricians must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, local city and national electrical codes, practices, and procedures within the electrical field.
Residential Journeyman Electrician Qualifications:
Must have valid Residential Journeyman license from a State Board of Electrical Examiners. At Kimbel Mechanical, this must be a valid Arkansas Residential Journeyman license.2+ yrs of experience.
Strong Work EthicsSupervisory SkillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Driver's LicenseCommunication SkillsAbility to work 6am to 5pm Monday thru Friday and an occasional Saturday.
Residential Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities:
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyCapable of leading and empowering individuals within your respective teamOversee quality within your project(s)Manage subcontractors being utilized for the jobLearn to inspect, install, modify, repair, and maintain electrical fixtures in gas, water, and drainage systems according to applicable building codesCommunicate effectively with Builders, General Contractors and Project ManagersBuild and maintain project schedules to meet deadlinesApprentice Electricians must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and proceduresOther duties/responsibilities as assigned*Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
