    Job Description

ASI is the largest global provider of technology B2B services for the $26.1 billion promotional products industry (branding and marketing). With 25,000 clients in 53 countries, our mission is to inspire, inform, and empower our clients' success every step of the way.

The VP, Product Management will lead all aspects of product management for ASI and its sister company ASI Show (operates trade shows and events across North America that attract about 20,000 attendees per year). This includes ESP, a technology platform that contains over one million searchable products as well as additional features/functionality to help suppliers and distributors run their day-to-day business, including virtual samples, order management, payment processing, fulfillment, operations, financial reporting and analytics and more, as well as ASI's exclusive, integrated digital ad management platform serving paid search results across ESP and the 20,000 websites built and hosted by ASI.

This role will lead the product management team in their efforts to optimize the value created through the ESP platform. S/he will be an integral part of the product and technology leadership team as ASI looks to elevate to the next level of digital commerce and technological advances and take the business and industry beyond where it is today.

As the VP, the ideal candidate has a strong mix of leadership (mentoring, coaching, growing the team), business (understanding of business models and how value is created), and strategy (market-focused, research-based experimentation to minimize risk while delivering value). S/he will guide a product team that is charged with a product's contribution to ASI's business, building new products and increasing the profitability of existing products. In addition, the VP will help develop new ideas based on their contact with customers and prospects.

Reporting directly to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, the VP will work with a software development counterpart to define product release requirements based on market problems. S/he will work with product marketing and marketing communications to help define the go-to-market strategy by providing key product and market insights. The VP will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for their product offering, occasionally working to support the sales channel and key customers. In short, the VP must be prepared to communicate with all areas of the company. The VP will also work in coordination with the PMO to continually evolve and improve the product management process from strategy to launch, and through the entire lifecycle of products and features.

The salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000 plus bonus structure.
