Job summary
This individual is responsible for receiving and positioning raw materials for processing within the shipping department and for banding, packaging, and moving in process and finished coils upon completion of the Recoil or Slitting process in preparation for Shipping.Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading coils off of trucks using an overhead crane or forklift and matching the bill of lading against the work order or receiving report.
- Checking work orders to determine if coil is to be packaged for shipment or processed further in house.
