    Role: Data Manager/Lead

    This person serves as a stakeholder, project manager, and developer for data products in a newly established Looker platform including specifications, LookML development, dashboard design and implementation, and query optimization to convey key performance indicators, outcomes, and trends in medical practice across a number of cardiac procedures. The role is 50% hands on technical and 50% leading team. This individual will work with internal stakeholders and external clients to define and implement clinical trials, generate specifications, deliver high quality aggregate reports, and determine roadmaps and processes.

    The initial focus will be in two main areas: 1. Reporting- rolling out new reports. Statistical reports comparing outcomes for hospitals to other hospitals in their region/nationally. They are rolling reports out over the next 6 months 2. Analytics projects- implementing new dashboard. Replacing legacy system using ML with Snowflake/Looker solution. This project is still in design stage. This person will act as right hand person to manager on the team. Drive all of the tactical projects. Role is mix of hands on and mentoring/leading dev team. Individual should be well rounded in the data space. Understand probabilities of Data, Data Quality, as well as understand Data as a product. Should have experience with SQL, Python, R, Looker, R, Tableau, Snowflake (plus), Source Control, CI/CD understanding. Looking for generalist in data versus specialist.
