Speech Therapist - Full-Time


Position Summary:

Provides outpatient/inpatient assessment for adults, geriatric, infants and children as ordered by treating physician that have various levels of speech, communication or swallowing difficulties or disorders.

Develop individual treatment plan (to include family or other caregivers) to enable client to improve to maximum potential.

Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Monitor and evaluate client progress and provide individual or group therapy sessions as required.
• Chart case notes and provide reports as needed.
• Manage caseload taking into account priority cases, waiting lists, successful outcomes, referral and discharge of clients.
• Typically work one on one with client (with parents, family or other caregivers as required) or may work in multidisciplinary team approach depending on client needs.

Schedule: 30 hours per week


Qualifications:
Must be licensed in Illinois as Speech and Language Pathologist. Must have Inpatient Speech, swallow evaluation and treatment experience.
