*providing strategic leadership, *management, and *overall guidance in all legal service areas affecting the company and its affiliated corporations. *assumes system-wide responsibilities for *providing legal advice in matters of *general corporate law, *contracts, *antitrust, *managed care, *patient care, *litigation matters, *real estate and regulatory law and coordinates outside legal services. Contract work, including, but not limited to, drafting/reviewing/negotiating healthcare provider agreements, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, leases, managed care agreements, research contracts, and consulting agreements. Provide advice and direction to managers and employees on operational issues including, but not limited to, quality of care, informed consent, termination of care, continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
