The successful candidate must be able to work a 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shift rotation.WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and millingOversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved resultsPackage product safely and appropriatelyLearn and apply lean tools and methodologiesPractice excellent general housekeeping, including but not limited to, work area, floor areas, benches and storage areas to ensure a safe work environmentInspection of finished units for adherence to documented quality standards
WHO YOU ARE:
Experience on vertical/horizontal milling machines / HAAS / CNC lathes preferredExperience with programming is an assetYou will have working knowledge of G-Codes and CNC Milling operationsMust understand drawing interpretation, dimension checking and measurementsUnderstand proper material handling techniquesBe computer literate - 3D software and excel are highly utilized programs hereBe highly detail-oriented; conducting frequent & consistent quality checks is a mustHave a strong track-record for being accountable and timelyHave excellent communication skillsLove working with othersAbility to work in a fast paced environment,Live the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & adhere to safety, requirements and inform the Supervisor of any unsafe situations
