Job Summary
Provide technical leadership for the use of Information Technology and Services within the manufacturing facility and the business sector to meet business objectives.
Independently develop and execute small projects; act as technical lead on teams involved in the development of medium size/complex projects.
Responsible for the quality of systems work and detailed system specifications done for assigned functional/user area.Job Description
Responsible for maintaining, upgrading and expanding the Easton Manufacturing facility IT/OT infrastructure and services.
Provide computer technical support with a focus on customer service.
Establish and maintain effective communications throughout the manufacturing facility and the sector.
Monitor site LAN, servers and systems.
Maintain site level compliance metrics.
Support the process control engineering department in all operations and projects.
Install, support, and maintain mobile devices.
Assist in moving PCs and peripherals during office moves.
Provide client installation, support on Citrix functions, including hardware, server support, client software installs, and client connectivity.
Create network accounts and telephone extensions for new users.
Perform new user computer orientations.
Provide backup support for all telephone systems.
Provide backup support for Web related functions.
Maintain site Video Management System in accordance with relevant policies.
Assist in making sure that the patch panel listing is accurate and up-to-date.
Assist in management of VMware host.
Manage and administer DR and backup systems to maintain stated SLA support levels.
Work with Process Area Managers to deliver plant data as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
Work with Network Team to provide LAN/WAN support for the sector (This is more of a focus area than an actual role for this position)
Maintain site level security and resiliency.
Perform trouble-shooting and provide solutions to problems.
Requirements & Preferred Competencies
AS or BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science,1 to 2 years technical experience. Microsoft AD, ESX VMware, Citrix. PC (hardware and software) troubleshooting and software installations. Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems. Experience managing and troubleshooting networks (preferably Cisco). Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), as well as attention to detail.
