Description

• High school diploma required.
• A minimum of two years of food manufacturing experience is required.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills are required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Grade 12 math and fractions is needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours required.

• Reads and interprets formulas to determine product specifications, processing, and technical information.
• Operates and tends to machines to mix or blend various food products.
• Patrol the work area to detect leaks, equipment malfunctions, or operating conditions and report any deficiencies to the Supervisor.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment necessary for the manufacturing of food products.

• Work is performed while standing, sitting, and walking.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
• Involves the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling medium weights up to 60 pounds.
• Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, food allergens, and gas.
