    We are looking for a remote Principal Engineer to join our team If you are a mechanical engineer with 7+ years experience, and like doing work that leads to energy efficiency, this job is for youIn this role you will be responsible for developing energy conservation projects that involve HVAC, lighting, and water for Commercial, Industrial, and Federal sector clients.

    This provides sustainable, energy-saving opportunities at customer facilities.


    Responsibilities:
    Do high level calculations after another engineer has pulled equipment data and performed building modelingIdentify potential energy conservation upgrades.

    Perform detailed analyses of costs and savingsDevelop preliminary designs and estimates of cost and energy saving opportunities at customer's facilities.

    Provide technical and implementation recommendations to the customerSupport sales team in developing and presenting energy savings proposals to customersRequirements:
    Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering7+ years of experience in HVACPreferred experience: the evaluation of energy conservation projects with technical solutions

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Professional Engineering (PE) registration, Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and/or LEED Accreditation.
    Experience with industry modeling software programs, such as Carrier Hourly Analysis Program, eQuest, and/or Trane Trace.

    Experience in developing energy conservation projects involving renewable energy technologies, large prime movers such as combustion turbines, biomass, and landfill gas facilities.
