Founded in 1977, S+B James Construction is a thriving Design-Build firm in Southern Oregon with an integrated in-house architectural team. The design department works closely with our construction management team and clients on all projects. Our project portfolio includes new and remodel healthcare, retail, office, industrial, religious, recreational, essential facility, cultural and educational projects that range in value from $500K to $27 million.

We are seeking candidates with a broad range of experience to work alongside our senior architectural staff and our construction management team on the development and completion of a wide range of projects in Oregon and Northern California.

S+B James was recognized as a top 100 Best Green Workplace in Oregon for 2021. We have a variety of green policies including generating our own electricity with rooftop PV panels at our corporate office and LEED accredited personnel. Our staff is active in the AIA at the local and state levels, and DBIA certified.

Requirements for this position include:

• Professional Architectural degree from an accredited school
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• The ability to see a project from inception through completion of construction
• AutoCAD proficiency (REVIT experience also desirable)
• Oregon Architect license preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Salary: $60,000-$90,000 Depending on Experience
