- Install hurricane fabric and storm protection systems according to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
- Ensure the safety of yourself and your team members while working on job sites.
- Measure, cut, and fit hurricane fabric to windows, doors, and other openings.
- Securely fasten hurricane fabric to designated anchors or attachment points.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure the installation meets company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials for each installation.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including job reports and time sheets.
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work comfortably at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor as needed.
