Purpose:
The Professional Development Practice Specialist is the clinical expert in evidence-based nursing practice in the specific clinical area assigned.
The Professional Development Practice Specialist will work under the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for Nursing Professional Development roles established by the American Nurse's Credentialing Center (ANCC) to include: Educator, Consultant, Researcher, Facilitator, Change Agent, and Leader.
