- Teach in an innovative and growing MSW program with substantive focus on trauma-informed clinical practice and collaboration with practice communities. The incumbent would be expected to teach courses that would include, but are not limited to practicum education, MSW foundation, MSW clinical, and/or electives courses.
- Provide leadership in the ongoing oversight and implementation of the MSW practicum education program
- Assist the MSW practicum coordinator in coordinating and overseeing MSW practicum placements
- Maintain Licensed Independent or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LISW/LICSW) status in the State of Minnesota.
- Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs.
- Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field.
- Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities.
- Contribute to student growth and development including student advising.
- Provide service to the university and community including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community.
- Support Winona State University's mission to enhance the intellectual, social, cultural, and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve.
- Assist with Council of Social Work Education re-accreditation processes, program growth, program assessment, and curriculum design and delivery.
- Practice community engagement through collaboration with other professionals and a commitment to meeting the needs of underrepresented and marginalized populations.
