    Description


    The main objective of this position is to provide support for installation and mechanical completion tasks related to mechanical equipment packages.


    Responsibilities:

    • Implement knowledge gained from past projects to improve construction processes
    • Manage and carry out construction tasks as per the execution plan, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedule, and budget
    • Collaborate with CVE leadership to ensure the safe and efficient execution of equipment installation and mechanical completion activities
    • Work with project management and engineering teams to address and resolve equipment installation issues
    • Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry standards to guarantee the quality of equipment installation
    • Coordinate with vendors to define and execute equipment installation specifications and maintenance activities
    • Utilize computerized systems database for equipment testing tracking and certification
    • Assist in the transition of systems from construction to commissioning phase
    • Support the development of commissioning and maintenance plans for mechanical equipment

    Deliverables:

    • Provide regular updates to line manager
    • Input data into Hexagon Smart Completions system to report and rectify any deficiencies

    Qualifications:

    • Degree or Diploma in a related Technical Discipline
    *
    15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
    • Leadership skills
    • Strong focus on Environment, Health, and Safety
    • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning processes

    Competencies:

    • Effective relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to different environments and tasks
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, and MS Project
    • Familiarity with Smart Completions software from Hexagon is advantageous
    • Understanding of technical documents such as P&IDs, PFDs, and ISOs
    • Experience with CMS databases, preferably Hexagon
    • Background in working with construction contractors during facility building and commissioning
    • Strong organizational competencies

    Work schedule:


    Schedule may vary between Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, including the possibility of night shifts. Working up to 50 hours per week.
