*SmartSource is seeking a 60 Field Technicians for a 12-week contract opportunity in Memphis TN
3 shifts available all shifts will be 10 hours. - 1st, 2nd,3rd
This role will be 6 days a week. With the number of hours worked, day 5 and 6 will most likely be overtime. Plenty of OT available.
Cabling experience is strongly preferred but will train. There will be 40 hours of training for this role.
*No experience* - If you have a strong work ethic, ability to be trained, willing to show up on time every day, work OT and complete the 12 week contract no experience is welcome.
This position is labor intensive (manual labor). You must be ok with manual labor to work this position.
*Pay *– With 2+ years of experience 38/hr.
No experience 28/hr.
_Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen _

*Job Responsibilities Include:

Low voltage structured cabling across a variety of platforms including data centers, banking, financial, and manufacturing/distribution environments.
Copper Cabling - Rough-in, terminate, and test 4-pair (CAT5e-CAT6) and multi-pair cabling.
Fiber Cabling – Rough-in, terminate, and test fiber utilizing SC/LC connectors, fusion splicing ability required.
Circuit Extension – T1, DS3, POTs.
Providing excellent customer service.
Travel: Must be willing to travel as necessary.
1-3 years' structured cabling experience.
Experience in large-scale rollouts, commercial building construction, and the ability to work with a General Contractor.

*Preferred qualifications include:

BICSI Certification a plus.
Manufacturer certifications desired.
