    Description

    Position Summary
    The Office Assistant provides day-to-day support in a team environment. The Office Assistant
    will perform basic administrative and clerical tasks for our corporate office.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:


    • Performs clerical duties including typing, filing and completion of simple forms
    • Answer phones, direct calls to appropriate individuals and prepares messages
    • Copies, sorts and files records related to office activities and business transactions
    • Prepares letters, memos, forms, and reports according to written or verbal
    instructions


    • Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate department or individual, processes
    outgoing mail


    • Order marketing supplies for sales team
    • Book corporate travel in a cost effective and timely manner
    • Willing to support all members of the team
    • Comply with all HIPAA and privacy regulations
    • Adhere to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with patients and patient data
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)


    • High School Diploma or GED, required
    • Prior work in healthcare customer service or reception, preferred
    • Able to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
    • Able to work effectively with a wide range of people
    • Time management skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Must have good computer skills, including data entry, experience with Microsoft
    Office, required


    • Excellent telephone skills and a pleasant attitude
    • Ability to work in team environment

    • Must be able to work onsite at our corporate headquarters in Maryland Heights, MO
    • Must be able to work in an office setting, use a computer, keyboard and mouse for the
    majority of the shift and be able to communicate on the telephone


    • Must be able to work the scheduled 8 hour shift Monday-Friday
    • Must be able lift 25 pounds
