Telehealth Psychiatrist (FL) – Full-Time

MindCare Solutions is a leading provider of round-the-clocktelepsychiatryand in-person behavioral health that provides services to hospitals, emergency departments and a variety of other care settings. Compensation: $125 - $150 per hour

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm, plus one weekend a month (All Telehealth)

Position Summary:

• MindCare will assist in the cost to get licensed if provider already has one compact licensure; we may request additional licenses as well
• Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients referred for the assessment and treatment of neuropsychiatric conditions, behavioral health disorders, and comorbid conditions.
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications within limits of applicable State law and following appropriate standards of care
• Utilization of the following EHRs Intelligent Routing, Meditech, Epic, Core
• Psychiatrist will participate in a care team daily
• Will be treating patients with addictions and withdraw(Drug and Alcohol)
• Provide recommendations for assessment, treatment, and monitoring including prescribing medications
• Psychiatrist will be treating adult and geriatric patients in a Behavioral Health Unit setting with 10 beds in the unit
• Psychiatrist will collaborate with 2 PMHNP's

Qualifications:

• Psychiatrist is required to be licensed in FL
• Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry
• Valid and unrestricted DEA
• Must be comfortable with addiction and withdraw (Drug and Alcohol)
• Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely
