VoIP Engineer

Astor & Sanders, an IT solutions provider located in McLean, VA, is currently seeking exceptional candidates for a Cisco VoIP Engineer experienced to assist our client with providing Level 3 network support. This position is hybrid onsite in New Carrollton, MD.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Cisco VoIP issues (Network, Software and Hardware)
• Provide Level 3 VoIP support
• Work with NOC VoIP team planning and upgrading UC, UCS and VMWare servers
• Provide Support for BareMetal setups (network device refreshes)
• Monitor incoming tickets and take the appropriate action, including updates and closures
• Provide "state of the network" status reports throughout the shift
• Monitor and open tickets for selected network events
• Additional duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Providing Level 3 VoIP support at an enterprise level
• Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or equivalent.
• Troubleshooting Cisco VoIP issues with connectivity
• 5+ years of IT experience in network, infrastructure and communications
• Experience with IT in a Federal environment
