- Bachelor's Degree
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed Dietitian in the state of Texas
- Experience with patient care, managing tube feedings and the Nutrition Care Process
- Assist in writing and reviewing menus
- Provide nutritional care to residents by completing nutritional assessments, counseling and education as needed
- Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team (MD, SLP, Nursing, Dietary Manager)
- Monitor and follow residents with weight loss, wounds, tube feedings and those on dialysis
- Complete regular dietary ands sanitation audits
- Aid in promoting State/Federal regulation compliance
