    Position Summary

    The Maintenance Technician will maintain facilities, including HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord systems. They will also perform general maintenance projects and respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents in private rooms and public areas.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain facilities by completing tasks such as replacing light bulbs, maintaining grounds, repairing electrical, plumbing, painting, cleaning gutters, HVAC, appliances, and trash removal.
    • Work with the Executive Director to develop and implement a plan to correct maintenance deficiencies noted during facility surveys.
    • Conduct routine inspections of life safety systems.
    • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of resident units and prepare units for new move-ins.
    • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
