As a Mortgage Loan Officer you may look forward to: providing service to applicants and prospective customers seeking a home loan including interviewing pre-qualification and pre-approval completing application and gathering supporting documentation reviewing and completing regulatory disclosures with customer maintaining existing generating new sources of referral business quoting interest rates securing pricing through the Secondary Marketing Department on behalf of the Customer collecting required application fees inputting application data into Loan Origination Software LOS utilizing automated underwriting systems AUS to obtain credit recommendations communicating with customers both internal external regarding the status of the loan relaying information to all interested parties managing hisher pipeline of loans to verify accuracy of the current loan status acknowledging abiding by TowneBank Mortgage Policies Procedures mentoring other Loan Officers relaying to Senior Management any industry changes trends that may be in their interest participating in Towne Bank TowneBank Mortgage area association events preparing Mortgage Minutes for presentation at each sales meeting providing on-going training for the real estate agents lunch learns working closely with the BrokerSales Manager attending Loan Officer Meetings representing the bank actively participating in approved community outreach functions enhancing our image developing new business opportunities obeying all applicable federal laws rules regulations relating to AntiMoney Laundering AML including the Bank Secrecy Act BSA You Are a Person That required Skills Has valid NMLS number has at least year experience originating VA FHA Conventional VHDA loans has proven sales record based on closed loan production currently possess sources referral business purchase transactions has High School Diploma or equivalent has awareness FNMAFHLMC FHA VA VHDA underwriting guidelines Youll be better prepared if you have desired skills Working knowledge Microsoft Office products Working knowledge Encompass software Physically You Can Anticipate To Express exchange ideas means spoken word via email verbally exert up pounds force occasionally use arms legs sit most time have close visual acuity perform activities such as analyzing data viewing computer terminal reading preparing documentation not substantially exposed adverse environmental conditions The physical demands described here are representative those must met by employee successfully perform essential responsibilities this job Reasonable accommodations made enable individuals disabilities perform essential responsibilities
