As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, clear communication. You will deliver outstanding customer service while documenting observations and supporting staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, damaged property, and/or unusual conditions.

Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying authorization when required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations while maintaining professional communication.

Complete required documentation such as activity logs, incident reports, and shift turnover notes, and communicate relevant updates to oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements

Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
Pepper Spray Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
