    Job Description
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Prepare food items for customers as requested, including special requests, in a timely and consistent manner
    • Food Preparation
    • Inspect food products and supplies as needed
    • Ensure work environment and stations are clean and sanitized
    • Check food before it is served to customers
    • Control and minimize waste
    • Comply with outlined safety regulations and procedures
    • Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers

    SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to work safely and prevent personal injury
    • Commitment to the safety of fellow coworkers and our guests, and the ability to demonstrate that commitment through daily actions.

    RESPONSIBILITIES/TEAMWORK/DEPARTMENT

    • Related duties as assigned based on extensive experience working in an entertainment venue
    • Assist all other kitchen team members as needed
    • Create and maintain a sense of urgency
    • Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time
    • Other jobrelated duties as assigned
    • Inform management of any complaint, comments or incidents

    EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
    • 23 years food service or restaurant experience required
    • Ability to pass a food service sanitation course
    • Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and safety and sanitation practices
    • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow recipes

    WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Basic Restaurant operations
    • Opening and closing duties
    • Knowledge of food recipes
    • Proper lifting techniques
    • Food presentation
    • High volume operations
    • Sanitation and safety

    • Must have a good positive energy to make it through the shift
    • Must be able to move quickly through work and set the pace in the venue

    • Must be able to read the computer monitors

    • Work indoors and/or outdoors, exposed to hot and/or cold surfaces, steam, and wet floors
    • Must be dexterous and able to participate in all service aspects
    • Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb, and carry as necessary
    • Must be able to carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
    • Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds and smoke, the severity of which depends upon guest volume
